Ladies of the night

Saturday, 25th of April with some of Greenies are representing Green Club to attend MMU Award 2009 as we had nominate ourself for one of the awards. Together with Karate Club and also Archery Club, eight of us are arranged to be seated in one table.

The event flow states the event starts at 8pm but Malaysian culture normally it will not started sharp at 8pm.. That's why I am also coming late that night. Haha.. After wait and wait and wait, the event finally starts at 9pm!! Followed by the arriving of guest of honour, a group of dancer are presenting dance on the stage with some fireworks as effects...hehe.. MMU Awards performance are better than the Prom Night one..haha.. no offence ya...

After some speeches, the food finally serves to us.. haiz... wait long time already lor... LOL.... The food not bad, with some prawn, beef, chicken, fish, and taufu with rice. The only thing I want to complain is that the food is cold one!!! but really delicious.... Better than Friday night that one..

After that, they had some award presentation and some performance. We are boring with that as we did not nominate for those awards. We spent our time on photo taking, chit-chat~ing, ( although I know is impolite for the event) hehe... but, what to do?? When a gang of ladies gather together, what can we do???? Chat lar.... haha

Although we did not win any of the awards, but I am still happy to spend the night in Grand Hall.... Never mind, Green Club was established less than one year only we still have chance in the future. I am believe one day Green Club will be announce from the emcee to accept the awards. Don't give up greenies.......

Green Club Appreciation Dinner + Farewell Party

23rd of April at BR 1021, a gang of green club member was gathered together here for appreciation dinner...

This is an appreciation dinner for all working committees of Green Week 2009. I would say it is a farewell party rather than an appreciation dinner... As they really show their heart to give us a surprise....

They prepare some spaghetti, pizza, and KFC for the dinner and all the working committees are invited for that dinner. After finish our dinner, they bringing a cake for us and even play an video for us. I like the cake very much, our names are on the cake and our Green Club logo as well with the word Farewell......

Looking at the word Farewell, I know my time in Green Club was not long already as I am graduate soon. Although I joined Green Club not long ago but I missed the time when we work together, I miss the time when we have fun together, I missed the time when we yumcha together, I enjoy the moment that we spent together......... I am sure I will missed it when I am old enough together with my children, my grandchild... I will tell them that I had a wonderful moment with Green Club......

To all Greenies and future working committees,

Work hard and makes Green Club better, help us accomplish the goal that we have not done yet. You guys know our president like the trees very much right? Don't forget to plant one for him...haha.... Thanks for the dinner, I appreciate what yo guys done... Forgives me if my words hurts you, I am not meant to do it... Sometimes I just could not control myself......

Prom Night 2009

24th of April 2009.... An unforgettable night for us... It's Prom Night 2009 for us... This is meaningful to us because we are going to graduate soon. Now is Saturday of Week 11, 3 more weeks later we will facing our last Final Exam.. hopefully..hehe... This mean we will get lesser chance to meet each other after that or some even will not able to meet again. Hence, last night is very precious to all of us especially those who are graduating this year...

The food is not delicious at all but the night is full with joy.. Met with a lot of friends and took photo with them and all of this will turn into memories for the rest of life..... Memories will last forever and ever just like our friendship....

After that, thanks to Prom Night Organizer we got free entrance to Ministry of Sound(MOS) clubbing.... I don't like clubbing actually but last night I did enjoy it because I spend most of my time with my friends... It looks like gathering rather than clubbing..haha...

Thanks god.. Thanks for giving me a chance to meet someone again... I thought we wont have chance to meet again.... But, fate do let us meet again for the one more time and maybe is the last time.... But I still appreciate it.... The night was meaningful with me...

What Makes A Malaysian A Malaysian?

1. A typical young Malaysian can name all the players from a top English Premier League club, but ask him to name one football player from Malaysia, he cannot!

2. When StreamyX come, you complain StreamyX too slow. When Maxis Broadband come, you complain Maxis Broadband always disconnects. When WiMax come, you complain Wimax too expensive. In the end, you say StreamyX still the best lah.

3. When highway toll price increase, you complain. When petrol price increase, you complain. When you go Starbucks buy RM10 coffee, NO COMPLAINTS.

4. When you cannot find parking in a shopping mall and have to walk very far, you complain. When you go inside the shopping mall and there's SALE, run from one end of 1Utama to the other, that one NO COMPLAINT.

5. You are always late. And the excuse you give when you're late is always either: (a) traffic jam (b) no transport or (c) cannot find parking.

6. You have a parent who forces you to take science stream in high school, study engineering in Uni, then when you graduate, they ask you to forget everything you learnt in Uni and do commerce.

7. You know someone who can specially develop an angmoh accent when speaking to an American / British / Australian.

8. Every year on the 30th April, you are one of the people below queuing up last minute to submit your tax return at the IRB.

9. When an angmoh stranger kisses you on the cheek to say hello, you very happy. When a Malaysian guy kisses you on the cheek to say hello, you slap him in face.
